EEK! I just realized I never posted about our trip!!! Last month, my husband and I traveled up north to escape the Houston heat and humidity for a few days. (July 3 – 7) We stayed at a remote cabin in Banff National Park and were completely disconnected from the internet for most of the time there. (We don’t have an international plan on our phones and was only connected to wifi the two times we went out to eat in Banff and Jasper). Canada is really beautiful and I can’t wait to see more of the country!
We hiked the Plain of Six Glaciers trail at Lake Louise. At the end of the trail is the Six Glaciers Tea House!
We spent the day sightseeing in Banff and went canoeing on Bow River.
We took a nature walk around Lake Moraine in the Valley of the Ten Peaks.
The Columbia Ice Fields separates Banff National Park and Jasper National Park. We took an “Ice Explorer” up to Athabasca Glacier, where we could walk around!
On the way back from Jasper, we stopped off at Athabasca Falls in Jasper National Park. So peaceful!
